Our charitable objects, vision and mission define the way in which LCB both thinks and acts – as individuals and as a charity.

‘Our passion to make a real difference to people’s lives is what motivates and unites our team. Our culture and values support our ambitions and help drive us towards realising our vision.’

LCB Founder, Leigh Bruce

LCB’s Charitable Objects for the public benefit are:

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation, in particular by the provision of facilities for amateur boxing and boxing fitness training in London.

Our Mission is:
To harness the power of sport as a driver of personal and community advancement.

Our Vision is:

  • To increase social cohesion and integration by bringing together people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds in a common pursuit

  • To engage the most vulnerable and marginalised parts of society

  • improve health and fitness; build confidence, discipline and life skills; and improve prospects for further training and employment beyond sport.

All of these are underpinned by our determination to project strong, consistent and recognisable values. Those values are derived from the sport we all love, and is at the core of all LCB activities: discipline, hard work, accountability, integrity and teamwork. Our charity firmly believes that these are not empty words – they are what we live by.
